About the role:

I&C Project Manager - 12+ Month Contract - Covert, MI. The I&C Project Manager oversees electrical projects, ensuring the team completes them on time, within budget, and to specifications, and requires a blend of technical knowledge and management skills. We base this position at the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, MI. You will work on-site and report to the Manager of I&C Installation Services.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

I&C Project Managers are responsible for planning and directing electrical projects as part of larger construction efforts. This includes developing project plans, budgets, and schedules.

• Coordinate with electricians, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Delegate tasks, monitoring progress, and facilitating collaboration among team members.
• Maintaining communication with clients, contractors, and partners is crucial.
• Present progress reports, manage relationships, and meet project requirements.
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and legal regulations is a critical part of the role.
• Must stay updated on industry standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• We require a bachelor's degree in electrical or I&C engineering or a related field.
• Additional certifications in project management can be beneficial.
• We require previous management experience in electrical projects, along with an understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
• An understanding of electrical systems, project management methodologies, and industry standards is necessary.
• Be a leader who can manage teams and projects and communicate expectations.
• The ability to identify potential risks and implement solutions to mitigate them is important for project success.
