Service Project Manager - Commercial HVAC (Mechanical Construction)

Full-timeA well-established mechanical contractor is looking for an experienced Service Project Manager to lead and manage commercial HVAC service and retrofit projects from kickoff through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of service work while maintaining strong client relationships and operational control.

What You'll DoManage multiple commercial HVAC service projects simultaneously, from estimate handoff through completionCoordinate field labor, subcontractors, and material procurement to meet schedules and budgetsServe as the primary point of contact for building owners, facility managers, and general contractorsPrepare and manage project schedules, cost tracking, change orders, and billingSupport service technicians and foremen with job planning and executionReview scope, drawings, and service agreements to ensure accurate executionMaintain project documentation, closeout packages, and customer satisfactionEnforce safety standards and company procedures on all projectsWhat We're Looking For10+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service or mechanical construction project managementStrong understanding of HVAC systems, service repair, and retrofit workProven ability to manage multiple small-to-mid-sized projects concurrentlyExperience working directly with end users and property/facility managersSolid financial skills: budgeting, job cost tracking, and forecastingProficiency with project management and service software (CMiC, Sage, MS Project, Procore, etc.)Strong communication, organization, and leadership skillsWhat's OfferedCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance-based incentivesHealth, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company matchingVehicle allowance or company vehiclePTO, holidays, and long-term stability with a reputable contractorWhy This RoleThis is a high-visibility position within a growing service division where you'll have autonomy, leadership support, and the opportunity to make a real impact on client relationships and operational success.
