Limited local travel as required Senior Project Manager - Federal Facilities Operations & Maintenance K Corp Support Services, Inc. (KSS) Position Overview K Corp Support Services, Inc. (KSS) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the execution of multiple federal facility service contracts at a major General Services Administration (GSA) facility in Detroit, Michigan. This leadership position is responsible for the overall management, administration, quality control, staffing, financial performance, and customer satisfaction associated with both Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Custodial Services contracts supporting a large occupied federal facility. The Senior Project Manager serves as KSS's primary on-site representative and is responsible for ensuring all contract requirements are performed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with GSA standards, performance work statements, quality assurance requirements, and applicable federal regulations. Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and management of federal Operations & Maintenance and Custodial Services contracts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for GSA representatives and Government stakeholders.
  • Direct day-to-day operations of maintenance, engineering, custodial, grounds, and subcontractor personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, performance standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
  • Manage contract budgets, labor utilization, staffing levels, subcontractor performance, and operational costs.
  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency response, work order management, and custodial service delivery.
  • Monitor KPIs, quality metrics, service levels, and contractual deliverables.
  • Lead staffing initiatives, workforce development, and succession planning efforts.
  • Manage customer concerns and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Oversee monthly reports, quality control reporting, staffing reports, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure effective use of
CMMS/NCMMS
systems and asset management programs.
  • Coordinate with corporate leadership regarding performance, compliance, and resource requirements.
  • Lead small- and medium-sized facility improvement and repair projects. Qualifications
  • Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible project management experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience managing Operations & Maintenance, Facilities Management, or Integrated Facilities Services contracts.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams including engineers, maintenance personnel, custodial staff, and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of federal contracting requirements, PWS, QASP, CBA and SCA requirements.
  • Experience managing union and non-union workforces preferred.
  • Strong budgeting, estimating, contract administration, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with
CMMS/NCMMS
platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • PMP, CFM, FMP, or similar professional certification.
  • Experience supporting GSA or other federal agencies.
  • Experience managing both O&M and custodial service programs.
  • Experience with asset management and energy management programs.
