Starting at $90,000 per year; based on experience

Project Manager Responsibilities :

Review request for proposals/contracts for scope of work/feasibility. Submit bids and any necessary documentation needed Oversee MDOT Projects and submit proper and timely filings Develop overall schedule for labor for projects and budget the time necessary to meet each deadline Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and placement of materials and equipment on-site as required to execute each phase of the project Collaborate with leadership as necessary to create bids/estimates, budgets and timeline for materials, equipment, and labor File appropriate documents on time and monitor job progress, cost budgeting and scheduling Direct or conduct inspections to audit the quality of workmanship and materials as well as compliance with specifications and standards Ensure safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite Manage and lead actions that are necessary due to delays, bad weather, or emergencies at sites Hold weekly meetings with crews Develop and maintain a good working relationship with a variety of people and skill sets Perform other related duties as assigned.

Project Manager Qualifications :

1 - 3 years of successful MDOT project coordination and management, preferred 2 - 4 years of successful project management or field work as a superintendent or field manager Experience with Excel, PlanGrid, Sage and/or time management software programs a plus Ability to manage negotiated, bid and time & material projects from inception to close out Ability to manage time effectively in the office and out on the jobsite Knowledge on how to read and understand prints and engineering layouts Capability to work with estimating, project management and various software programs effectively
