Job Description

2012 Infrastructure Project Manager Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Services team. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering infrastructure projects while ensuring schedules, resources, budgets, and project objectives are successfully achieved. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes ownership of projects from initiation through completion, working closely with technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to drive successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Delivery Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and work breakdown structures. Coordinate project resources and track resource utilization. Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and workload throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Manage project documentation and maintain accurate project records. Communication & Stakeholder Management Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder discussions. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, status reports, and project communications. Provide regular project updates to leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams. Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams and external vendors. Project Governance Follow established project management methodologies, standards, and processes. Manage action items, risks, issues, and change requests. Escalate project concerns and roadblocks when necessary. Ensure project deliverables meet quality and compliance requirements. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement Identify and resolve project issues and risks proactively. Support process improvement initiatives within infrastructure operations. Collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions and improve delivery effectiveness. Key Infrastructure Projects Enterprise Network Implementation Support planning, deployment, and implementation of enterprise network environments. Assist with network design, migration planning, and deployment activities. WAN Connectivity & Carrier Circuit Coordination Coordinate WAN deployments and carrier circuit implementations. Manage project activities related to connectivity upgrades and network infrastructure improvements. Cisco Network Infrastructure Modernization Support Cisco switching, routing, wireless, and network refresh initiatives. Coordinate implementation activities and project timelines. Network Cutover & Migration Planning Manage enterprise cutover planning and execution. Coordinate migration activities and minimize business disruption. Network Security & Access Infrastructure Projects Support initiatives involving: Secure connectivity Multi-factor authentication (MFA) Access management DDoS mitigation Network security enhancements Malware defense solutions Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of Infrastructure Project Management experience. Experience managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of:
Enterprise networking WAN technologies Network security Infrastructure deployments Experience working with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. Strong project planning, organization, and coordination skills. Ability to manage schedules, budgets, risks, and project deliverables. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Experience facilitating meetings and presenting project status updates. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Cisco infrastructure environments. Familiarity with network migrations and modernization initiatives. Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure projects. Knowledge of enterprise security and access management solutions. PMP, CAPM, or related project management certification preferred.
