Oversee all aspects of projects, manages deadlines and monitors progress of project. The project manager also reports status of project back to the team along with keeping lines of communication open with customer. Duties and Responsibilities Assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives by considering all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Leads project design teams that include Mechanical, Electrical, Welding and Robotics engineering Leads project build teams that include Machine builders, Electricians, Pipe fitters, Controls, Welding and Robotics engineering Coordinating internal resources and third party suppliers to meet the customer's requirements Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and on budget Scheduling and facilitating design reviews throughout the project Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs Reviewing bill of material is correct and ready for purchasing Working closely with purchasing making sure materials are ordered on time Managing the relationship between the company and the customer Performing risk management to minimize the project risks Establishing and maintain good relationships with third party suppliers Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation Managing onsite installation of equipment at customer's facility Follow all company safety protocol Qualifications In depth experience and understanding of the automation industry Experience reading, interpreting, and explaining complex documents including but not limited to work instructions, blueprints, statistical data and CAD data Efficient in time and priority management and multi-tasking Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive time lines and project documentation Ability to understand and contribute to early Design Analysis of Systems Ability to maintain a good relationship between the company and customer Experience communicating in difficult situations in both individual and group settings Experience working with purchasing tracking ordered materials Ability to motivate and work closely with a team Ability to apply understanding to carry out complex written or oral instructions Experience maintaining good relations with third party supplier Use an objective and balanced approached toward analysis and decision making Experience managing onsite installation of equipment at the customer's facility Experience working as an engineer or exposure with engineering Experience with Microsoft Office and Project is a plus. Organizational Culture Reporting to work on time and with a positive attitude Appropriate dress attire and personal hygiene cleanliness Responsible for staying focused on tasks at hand Being responsible for work performance and completing tasks throughout the day Maintains a good working relationship with co-workers Support a positive and steady work flow through the company Works with a sense of urgency when needed Support, coach or mentor co-workers when needed Positively supports change throughout the company Reporting Structure This position has no supervisory responsibility and will report to the Vice President.
