The candidate will be required to support our sales and purchasing team to make supply chain decisions from the onset of a request for quote to the conclusion of the order. The candidate will be required to utilize the company's ERP system to provide real time information to key account customers and track orders to document on time performance

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Processing customer requests and help prepare competitive quotations based on deadlines. Interfacing with Program Management to ensure compliance on customer orders, as necessary Sourcing - Determining supply chain source to purchase from Submitting and following up on request for quotations to our supply chain. Data entry of vendor quotes and customer quotes Reviewing sales orders for accuracy after generation in ERP system Tracking status on open quotations Escalating issues which cannot be easily resolved Resolving pricing and delivery issues with purchase orders as they arise Following all relevant QMS (Quality Management System) Procedures and Work Instructions Requirements Focused, motivated, and organized individual Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines Detail oriented Strong communications skills, both written and verbal Prior purchasing/supply chain experience including material sourcing and vendor interaction MS office suite proficient, advanced Excel proficiency level desired Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, conducted in accordance with applicable laws. Preferred Qualifications Completion of Associate's degree or higher Prior experience in the Defense Industry Prior use of Pentagon 2000 a plus but not required Technical background including experience reading mechanical drawings and working with a wide range of technical products Salary $25.00-$40.00 per hour, negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications. This position may also be eligible for an incentive plan based on individual performance and company meeting defined targets.
