Job Description
Senior Project Manager | AI Join Epicor as a Project Manager! We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the execution of our AI product portfolio. This role will manage multiple concurrent AI initiatives across platform capabilities, embedded product features, and internal enablement efforts. The position focuses on driving execution, improving visibility, and establishing scalable processes across a fast-evolving AI landscape. The successful candidate will work closely with Product, Engineering, and AI leadership to ensure alignment, delivery predictability, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong project management fundamentals combined with the ability to operate in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments typical of AI-driven development.
What you will be doing:
Project Leadership & Execution Lead multiple AI-related projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and business objectives Define project scope and milestones starting from desired customer and business outcomes, and align execution accordingly Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and budgets across concurrent initiatives Drive execution using Agile methodologies and standard SDLC practices Ensure consistency with company project management frameworks and delivery standards AI Portfolio Coordination & Governance Support governance across AI initiatives, including prioritization, reporting, and decision-making frameworks Improve portfolio visibility through structured reporting, dashboards, and status communications Establish repeatable processes and playbooks to scale AI project delivery Track and communicate portfolio health, risks, and progress to leadership Technical & AI Collaboration Work closely with engineering and data science teams to translate technical initiatives into actionable plans Understand AI/ML development workflows, including iterative model development and deployment considerations Support coordination across evolving disciplines where AI is impacting traditional development models Stakeholder Engagement Operate effectively across disciplines where traditional boundaries between engineering, product, UX, and data science are evolving Align priorities and timelines across global, cross-functional teams Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across regions, ensuring clarity, context, and strategic framing. Build strong relationships and act as a trusted partner for project-related activities Influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive accountability Risk, Dependency & Change Management Demonstrate strong ownership by proactively identifying risks, removing blockers, and driving accountability across teams Manage scope changes and ensure proper communication and alignment Process Improvement & Operational Excellence Drive continuous improvement within the PMO, including tools, templates, and reporting practices Adapt project management practices to support highly collaborative and non-linear workflows Support standardization of AI project delivery approaches Lead process transformation initiatives, including automation and AI-driven enhancements. Leverage data and metrics to improve decision-making and execution outcomes Contribute to PMO maturity and best practices Tool Utilization Ensure project documentation and updates are maintained in JIRA and other tools (e.g., Aha!, Teams, Power BI, SharePoint). Use project management tools to track progress, manage risks, and communicate effectively.What you will likely bring:
Required 5+ years of experience in project management within software development or technology environments. Proven experience managing multiple complex, cross-functional projects Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC practices Experience working in global, cross-functional team environments Preferred Experience managing AI, machine learning, or data-driven initiatives Familiarity with AI/ML lifecycle concepts (data pipelines, model training, evaluation, deployment) Experience working with engineering and data science teams Exposure to cloud platforms and modern software architectures Experience with tools such as Jira, Aha!, Azure DevOps, or similar PMP certification (preferred) or equivalent project management experience What We Offer A dynamic and fast-paced environment where innovation and collaboration are encouraged.
