Job Title:
Project Manager II Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The role involves working across two locations: Prairie Island and/or Monticello. The position is centered around solidifying long-term plans, enhancing project estimates, deploying team members to projects, and managing license extensions. You will be responsible for capital work and asset depreciation. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for this role. Responsibilities Coordinate with stakeholders and interface with the maintenance organization and engineering department. Implement projects in line with the scope, schedule, and budget. Conduct weekly meetings, source vendors, initiate and manage contracts. Monitor project financials and escalate concerns as necessary. Engage in risk management and present projects for authorization approvals. Conduct field and plant observations and collaborate with internal stakeholders. Essential Skills 5-7 years of project management experience from inception to completion. Experience managing projects with budgets of at least $1 million. A strong preference for candidates with nuclear experience. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred. Proficiency with SAP, Unifier, UKG Workday, MS Project, and P6/Primavera. U.S. citizenship required. Additional Skills & Qualifications ABET accreditation is desirable. Finance experience is beneficial. Ex-Navy (submarine/navy) nuclear experience preferred if lacking commercial experience. PMP certification is strongly preferred. SRO certification or license is beneficial. Work Environment The work environment is highly supportive and collaborative, supporting a large team of 32 people. The role involves desk work with the expectation to visit the field/plant for observation. Standard work hours apply, but during outages, a minimum of 60 hours per week is expected, with shifts of 12 hours per day for 6-7 days a week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Monticello, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
