About the job
Location:
Aalborg As Project Manager of implementation projects at TravelOperations, you will play a key role in the success of global D365 for Finance and D365 BC projects by managing each project from Initiation to Go Live.
Your responsibilities will include:
Your Responsibilities Ensuring the Project Team delivers in line with Microsoft and TravelOperations methodology, combined with solid industry best practice. Creating, owning, and driving project plans from start to finish - including leading change management and constructively challenging customers when it helps them improve. Continuously improving how we implement and deliver projects. We always want to get better, and you will have real influence on how we work. Ensuring the contractual foundation for Change Requests and incoming work is valid, commercially sound, and aligned with guidelines from Legal. Owning the financial side of projects, including budget management, forecasting, and identifying opportunities to create additional value for customers through relevant upsell opportunities. Learning fast from retrospectives - and more importantly, turning lessons learned into action. Building enough domain understanding over time to ask the right questions, challenge where needed, and make strong decisions. Owning core project management disciplines including risk management, stakeholder communication, governance, coordination, and keeping momentum throughout delivery. This role will report directly to our Global Director of Professional Services. Desired Skills & Requirements We expect you to have experience with project management, preferably within Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP projects or other Enterprise-level project implementations. Personality matters, and for this role we see the strongest candidates scoring highly on Responsibility, Discipline, Communication, and Relationship Building. Our ideal candidate could bring a mix of the following traits and professional qualifications: Experience with project management of large-scale projects Project experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, tech implementation in the travel industry, or other high complexity implementations Thrives in a hands-on role where you act as both Project Manager and team lead for the delivery team. This is not a strategy-only position - it is about getting projects from A to B, through every step in between, with outcomes over activity tracking. Professional experience in an international environment Experience with project management tools, such as Jira Excellent communication skills in English; written, verbal, and presentations Strong coordination, management, and problem-solving skills Experience with reporting risks and issues to Steering Committee level Flexibility in working hours - we run projects all across the world, which also means different time zones to meet with both customers and colleagues. The ability to work with flexibility so it works for both you and the customers A strong desire to deliver the best possible projects and always striving to do better Fluent English is a must, as we deliver to global customers across multiple regions.
