Job Description

Our client is a well-established, full-service consulting firm specializing in surveying, transportation, architecture, energy, and geotechnical services. With nearly 60 years of success and seven offices across the state, they have built a strong reputation as a trusted partner to local agencies-evidenced by an impressive 95% repeat business rate. As part of their continued growth and the launch of a new office, they are seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor to step into a Project Manager role, leading projects and collaborating with an experienced field team to support ongoing and future work. Key Responsibilities Manage survey projects including scope, schedule, and budget Act as the primary point of contact for clients Lead and oversee field crews and office staff Review and approve plats, legal descriptions, and survey deliverables Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and quality control procedures Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders Assist with proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates Monitor progress and resolve project issues or delays Perform occasional field work and site visits as needed Qualifications Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)•Missouri (required) 10+ years of land surveying experience Experience with transportation, residential, commercial, energy, or oil & gas projects Strong knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and standards Proficient with survey equipment (Trimble, Leica, GPS, total stations) Experience managing field crews and multiple projects (preferred) Strong communication and client relationship skills Proficiency with survey software (AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar) What's in It for You Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (starting 1 month after employment) 4% 401(k) employer match 3-5 weeks PTO Company vehicle Overtime paid at time-and-a-half Local projects (limited travel) Professional development and mentorship Clear growth opportunities from day one If you're looking to build strong relationships with local agencies, gain exposure to a diverse range of projects, and learn from experienced industry leaders-while maintaining a healthy work-life balance-we encourage you to apply!
