Project Specialist Schedule:
Onsite An engineering and construction-focused organization is seeking a Project Specialist to support project execution, scheduling, financial tracking, reporting, and team coordination across complex projects. This role works closely with project leadership, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities Support project controls processes, scheduling, reporting, and cost tracking Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and client representatives Assist with project documentation, invoices, expense reports, change orders, and accounts payable processes Track project milestones, deliverables, RFIs, and submittal logs using internal systems and construction management software Organize and facilitate meetings, progress updates, and project communications Maintain accurate project records, reports, and compliance documentation Assist with safety documentation, emergency action plans, and training coordination Support onboarding and mentoring of project support staff on best practices and workflows Help maintain SOPs and ensure consistency in project execution processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Communications, Construction Management, or related field preferred Associate degree with 2+ years of related experience or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of related experience considered Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage competing priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and/or Bluebeam required Experience with project controls, cost management systems, Point, CRM software, or Microsoft Teams preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate across all levels of an organization Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship
