Onsite/Traveling Project Manager (Structural Steel Erecting)
Location:
Traveling/On the road (within the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic)
Compensation:
$100•140K (Depending on experience/tenure) Annual Bonus (up to 20%) Health/Dental/Vision Insurance 401K + company match Per Diem (to include lodging, travel, and food) Tiello has partnered with a leading AISC certified Structural Steel Erector in the Midwest on their search for an Onsite/Traveling Project Manager with experience overseeing structural steel projects, specifically Warehouses, Data Centers and Stadiums (up to 80K tons).
Key Responsibilities:
Review deliveries of steel and immediately starts coordinating with company and other fabrication shop(s) if anything is missing to resolve & expedite missing pieces Works with fabricator to resolve any mis-fabricated and/or mis-detailed pieces to keep erection going. Coordinate with fabricators and contractors to prepare site for our work, coordinate with other trades Reviews & maintains rolling punch list. Typical work week is 6 days/week Works overtime as required by the erection crew within confines of agreement with company management. Reviews and analyzes manpower requirements and schedule progress. Observe safety measures in place and ensures OSHA, contractor and company requirements are met. Communicates clearly and respectfully on behalf of company to the contractor and other parties Participates in pre-planning including sequencing, schedules, delivery timing, site coordination, joins pre-erection meetings with fabricator & contractor
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High level competency in Bluebeam and/or MS Project, Procore Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Valid driver's license MUST be a road warrior/able to travel and remain on job site
Preferred:
4-year bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields 5+ years' structural steel erecting project management experience Continuing education in project management training, organization, and leadership development skills is strongly encouraged Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Tiello LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
