Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee electrical scope projects for confidential data center new builds. These projects will span multiple buildings on site, focusing on paneling, low voltage, cabling, data cabinets, and more. The projects are located in Atlanta, GA, and Jackson, MS, and will continue through Summer 2027 and beyond. The role requires frequent travel with an allowance to fly home every weekend. Responsibilities Promote a positive company culture by fostering friendly and constructive employee relations. Work with the Purchasing Department and vendors to ensure effective material coordination. Identify and generate new business by networking and establishing customer relationships. Actively participate in the planning, organizing, and staffing of electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, productively, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Attend weekly and monthly meetings, such as Staffing Meeting, Project Manager Meeting, and Sales Meeting. Collaborate with the Workforce Manager in the performance review process for field leadership. Partner with the Talent Team to optimize recruiting, selection, and employee relations. Review outgoing estimates with the Estimating Department to ensure accuracy. Promote the merit shop philosophy by ensuring effective, fair, and timely performance evaluations for all employees. Visit job sites to interact with crew, customers, foremen, and general contractors, ensuring proper job progress and encouraging safe behavior. Effectively delegate tasks to direct reports, ensuring accountability and preventing decision-making bottlenecks. Act as a coach and developer of managerial talent, evaluating and selecting individuals for leadership roles. Monitor the flow of work between units, asking questions, and recommending improvements. Understand and convey functional strategies, business strategies, and corporate mission. Foster cross-functional collaborations to accelerate work processes. Create a supportive environment that allows for mistakes but not failure, offering constructive feedback. Essential Skills Proven experience in project management, particularly in electrical construction and low voltage projects. Experience with large electrical construction oversight. Familiarity with construction management and related processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with data centers is preferred, but experience in large industrial, life sciences, or manufacturing projects is also valuable. Proficiency in Procore is ideal, but experience with any project management software is acceptable. Work Environment This role involves significant travel between project sites in Atlanta, GA, and Jackson, MS. The successful candidate will receive a per diem for five days a week and will have the opportunity to fly home every weekend. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring collaboration across multiple teams and functions. The role demands flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Jackson, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
