Job Description

Project Manager (Commercial Construction)

Great Falls, MT Salary:
Up to $140,000
DOE Summary:
A well-established, highly respected commercial contractor is seeking a Project Manager to lead diverse projects ranging from $1M•30M+. This is a leadership role with strong visibility, offering the chance to drive work from preconstruction through closeout while influencing client relationships and future business opportunities. This position is ideal for a builder who thrives in both the field and front-end strategy-particularly someone who enjoys being part of a growing community and helping shape a company's regional presence.
Responsibilities:
Manage projects from preconstruction through final delivery Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and subcontractor scopes Lead RFP pursuits and participate in client interviews Oversee subcontract negotiations, purchase orders, and contracts Support estimating efforts, including self-perform scopes Write and manage bid packages within a GCCM framework Ensure quality, safety, and cost control across all phases
Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial construction experience Strong knowledge of stipulated sum and GMP delivery methods Experience with GCCM and (ideally) Design-Build processes Proven ability managing projects $1M•30M+ Excellent communication and organizational skills Demonstrated community involvement or willingness to engage locally
