Job Description:
Professional Summary The Project Controls Coordinator (Field Cost Analyst) is a strategic role providing critical financial analysis and support to the Project Management and Project Controls teams. This position is central to tracking incurred costs, progressing forecasting schedules, and delivering comprehensive earned value management reporting for construction operations. The successful candidate will act as an analytical Subject Matter Expert, ensuring high-fidelity data accuracy, rigorous cost tracking, and strategic alignment between field operations and corporate project controls. Core Responsibilities Execute daily Labor, Equipment, Material, and Subcontractor (LEMS) tracking processes to ensure precise cost capture and allocation. Maintain and administer comprehensive project cost data within the EcoSys cost management platform. Validate schedule completion percentages, alongside actual and forecasted start and finish dates, through weekly collaboration with site contractors. Analyze financial metrics and schedule progressions to develop, maintain, and refine accurate project forecasts at completion. Support the formal change management process, ensuring all scope deviations are meticulously documented and financially assessed. Liaise continuously with the assigned Project Controls Analyst to provide accurate, timely cost and schedule intelligence. Generate and distribute comprehensive weekly construction reports utilizing standard corporate reporting frameworks.
Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Experience:
2 to 5 years of professional industry experience in project controls, cost analysis, or a highly relevant capacity.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional capabilities in Microsoft Excel for complex data modeling. Demonstrated familiarity with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
Core Competencies:
Strong operational understanding and practical application of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
Compliance:
A valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract are mandatory, as this role requires regular travel to field locations for site analysis.
Preferred Qualifications Systems Expertise:
Prior hands-on experience utilizing EcoSys or similar advanced enterprise cost management platforms.
Industry Experience:
Background in heavy construction, engineering, or industrial field cost analysis.

Yanceyville, NC (27379).
Work Arrangement:
On-site with a significant field-based component. Regular travel to construction sites is required.
