Regional Project Manager Work Location:
Western NC Job Overview The Regional Project Manager (RPM) serves as the operational leader for all Vincent Valuations projects within the W estern North Carolina region. The RPM is responsible for the successful execution of reappraisal, annual appraisal, appeals, review, and special projects while ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, profitability, and team development. This position provides direct leadership to Associate Project Managers (APMs), Supervisors, Appraisers, Data Collectors, and other project personnel. The RPM is responsible for maintaining project timelines, staffing plans, budgets, quality standards, client relationships, and operational performance across multiple counties simultaneously. The RPM is expected to serve as the face of Vincent Valuations within the western region and actively foster relationships with county officials, stakeholders, and community leaders while developing future leaders within the organization.
Duties Regional Leadership & Oversight:
Provide leadership and operational oversight for all projects within the assigned region. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements. Establish clear expectations and accountability standards for project teams. Develop regional staffing plans and resource allocation strategies. Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. Support organizational initiatives and strategic objectives.
Client & County Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary operational representative for assigned counties. Maintain proactive communication with county management, elected officials, and project stakeholders. Attend county meetings, BOCC meetings, BOER hearings, project reviews, and public presentations as necessary. Ensure client concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. Support contract renewals and future business development opportunities.
Project Execution:
Oversee project kickoff, staffing, production, quality control, notices, appeals, and project closeout activities. Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and contractual obligations. Ensure operational risks are identified and mitigated proactively. Maintain visibility into production, remaining workload, staffing requirements, and project timelines. Escalate concerns and provide recovery plans when necessary.
Team Leadership & Development:
• Lead, coach, and develop APMs, Supervisors, and project staff. Conduct regular performance discussions and provide ongoing coaching. Identify future leaders and support succession planning efforts. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention initiatives. Promote a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
Financial & Operational Management:
Manage project budgets, labor utilization, and regional profitability. Review revenue performance and billing progress regularly. Ensure resources are utilized efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Support operational forecasting and staffing projections. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and contractual requirements. Maintain quality control standards throughout all project phases. Monitor project QC metrics and implement corrective action plans when necessary. Ensure teams follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Reporting and Communication:
Maintain accurate project documentation and operational reporting. Provide leadership with regular updates on project status, staffing, production, risks, and financial performance. Participate in leadership meetings, strategic planning sessions, and operational reviews. Ensure communication flows effectively between county stakeholders, project teams, and executive leadership. Qualifications Required Minimum 5 years of appraisal, mass appraisal, project management, or related operational experience. Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing teams and projects. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and reporting tools. Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned regions. Preferred North Carolina appraisal experience. Reappraisal or annual appraisal project experience. Experience managing county contracts. Experience with CAMA systems, GIS platforms, appeals, review, or quality control operations. Experience developing and mentoring leaders.
