Business Execution Consultant (Project / Program Manager) - Hybrid#26-06670 Charlotte, NC Onsite Right to Hire Starts 7/06/2026 Ends 7/02/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Execution Consultant (Project / Program Manager) for a hybrid position (3 days a week in the office) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on managing the execution, reporting, and delivery of payment system initiatives, particularly defects and implementations. The ideal candidate will lead project and program management in wire payments, create executive-levelmunications, and support regulatory and industry initiatives within a large,plex organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management across one or more critical Payment Operations programs Drive execution of key deliverables including project plans, milestones, dependency management, defect tracking, issue resolution, and risk mitigation Oversee Operational Readiness Reviews (ORR) and governance checkpoints Create and provide status reporting and executive-levelmunications Support regulatory and industry initiatives, such as ISO/standards implementation Assess the business impact of defects, including volume and staffing impact Ensure alignment to enterprise change management and control standards Drive timelypletion of control deliverables and remediation activities Maintain strong risk visibility and proactive escalation of delivery issues Improve delivery predictability, transparency, and speed through agile methodologies
Requirements:
8 years of project/program management experience in large,plex organizations Proven experience delivering in regulated environments (financial services strongly preferred) Demonstrated success managing multi-stream, cross-functional initiatives Strong knowledge of the payments domain (wire preferred) Strong knowledge of the defect lifecycle and operations Strong knowledge of project delivery frameworks (waterfall and hybrid models) and risk, control, and governance processes Excellent stakeholder management and executivemunication skills with the ability tomunicate with senior leadership and drive decisions Desired skills: Experience as an Agile Coach and change agent Familiarity with payment systems and ISO migrations Pay range: $57.19 - $65.19 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
