Organization Grid Technologies Business Unit Service Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our new Power Transformers Repair business, with a strong focus on building structure, processes, and governance aligned with established PMO standards. This role is critical in ensuring projects are executed in a disciplined, repeatable, and transparent manner, while supporting the ongoing development and maturity of project management processes and procedures within a growing industrial services environment. Success in this role is driven by strong project management fundamentals, experience working within a PMO framework, and the ability to implement and improve project processes and governance. How You'll Make an Impact Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through close-out, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk objectives are met in accordance with PMO standards. Establish, implement, and continuously improve project management processes, procedures, and templates to drive consistency and repeatability across repair projects. Integrate quality gates and governance checkpoints into project planning and execution to ensure early risk identification and controlled decision-making. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and external partners. Prepare and maintain standard PMO documentation, including project charters, schedules, cost forecasts, risk registers, and status reports. Monitor project performance and proactively manage risks, issues, and corrective actions. Support organizational PM maturity by contributing lessons learned, best practices, and process improvements. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or a related field with at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in an industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, or service-oriented environment. Prior exposure to power transformers, electrical equipment, heavy industry, or repair/service operations is required. Formal training in Project Management methodologies aligned with recognized standards (e.g., PMP®, PRINCE2®, or equivalent PMO frameworks). Demonstrated experience working within a PMO structure, following standardized methodologies, governance, and reporting requirements. Hands-on experience developing, implementing, or standardizing project management processes and procedures, particularly in organizations undergoing growth or transformation. Currently based or willingness to relocate to Charlotte, NC. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
