VP- Project Management SunEnergy1LLC Charlotte, NC Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Schedule management Construction team management Managing electrical project budgets Managing teams in a construction management role Construction scheduling Managing projects Financial management Construction project budgeting Full Job Description Overview SunEnergy1 is seeking a Vice President of Project Management to lead all project execution across its utility-scale solar, substation, transmission, and BESS portfolio. This executive will own project delivery performance from construction through commissioning, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets are consistently met. This leader will oversee all Project Managers and Project Directors and serve as a key driver of execution excellence across the EPC organization. Manage the end-to-end EPC lifecycle of utility scale projects Responsibilities Lead the full Project Management organization across all active projects Oversee execution of utility-scale solar, substation, transmission, and BESS projects Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget Drive portfolio reporting, forecasting, and executive-level KPIs Manage project risk, change orders, and recovery plans Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Finance Develop and mentor project management leadership team Improve project controls, systems, and execution processes Support client relationships and executive-level project reviews Requirements 15+ years in construction or EPC project delivery 7+ years in leadership managing project teams Utility-scale solar, substation, or transmission experience required Experience overseeing 100MW+ projects Strong background in project controls, budgeting, and scheduling Experience managing large project portfolios ($500M+ annually preferred) Proven executive communication and leadership skills Preferred PMP or PE license EPC contractor or utility experience Primavera P6 / Procore / ERP experience What Success Looks Like Projects delivered safely and on schedule Strong margin and financial performance Accurate forecasting and reporting High-performing, scalable PM organization Strong client satisfaction and repeat business
