$120,000 - $180,000 (Depending on experience) A privately held engineering and construction organization is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex mechanical, HVAC, and process-piping projects across industrial, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and mission-critical environments. Key Responsibilities Direct all phases of mechanical construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, installation, and turnover. Maintain strict control over project scope, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Coordinate field supervisors, subcontractors, engineers, and vendors to maintain workflow and resolve technical or logistical issues. Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, permits, and all project documentation. Monitor job progress, manpower allocation, material delivery, and installation quality. Develop and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reporting. Support accounting with invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of outstanding balances. Issue purchase orders, and coordinate shipping and delivery schedules. Lead internal and external project meetings, presenting schedules, progress updates, and risk mitigation strategies. Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing mechanical, HVAC, or process-piping projects in industrial or mission-critical environments. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, cleanroom environments, controlled temperature facilities, and industrial process systems. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and complex technical documentation. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Proficiency with project management and document control software. Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
