Job Description

job summary: Our client, an innovative pharmaceutical leader in Durham, NC, is seeking a Project Manager. This role requires a BS in Engineering, English fluency, and 5+ years of experience managing pharmaceutical capital projects to direct major investments that redefine patient care.
location:
Durham, North Carolina job type: Contract salary: $130 - 150 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Direct large-scale capital investment projects from conceptualization through successful commissioning and operations handover, ensuring all cost, schedule, and quality benchmarks are met.

Formulate comprehensive project strategies, manage initiation documents (scope, risk, budget assessments), and drive vendor selection and procurement.

Oversee design coordination and enforce strict construction safety plans, internal legal standards, HSE protocols, and GxP/QA compliance.

Conduct technical quality and constructability reviews, execute commissioning plans, and lead facility improvement initiatives for energy and compliance.

Coordinate multidisciplinary groups, align technical and business stakeholders, and actively mentor engineering teams to foster professional growth.
