About Us T.P. Howard's Plumbing Co., Inc. is a trusted plumbing and utility contractor based in Asheville. With over 40 years of experience, we specialize in large-scale plumbing projects, including industrial installations. As we continue to grow and take on exciting new developments in the area, we are looking to expand our team with a dedicated and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our Commercial Plumbing Division. Position Overview We are seeking an organized and driven Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or plumbing project coordination and will assist in managing commercial plumbing projects from start to finish. This role will support senior project managers with scheduling, project documentation, communication, and overall project coordination to help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with managing commercial plumbing projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination. Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to support daily project operations. Help maintain project documentation, contracts, submittals, and change orders. Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams regarding project updates and timelines. Assist in ensuring all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Track project progress and help identify and resolve issues that may impact schedules or budgets. Support estimating and material procurement as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience in construction project coordination, project management, or plumbing operations preferred. Plumbing or commercial construction experience preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with office and field personnel. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
