Job Description

Seeking an Electrical Project Manager with commercial construction experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Fletcher, NC. This position offers full benefits including competitive compensation package, health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, paid license renewal fees, company credit card, and expense account! Salary is $70,000+ per year (based on experience) The Electrical Project Manager/Estimator will oversee the full lifecycle of multiple electrical construction projects, ensuring compliance, safety, and profitability. This position will combine technical expertise with leadership to manage budgets, schedules, labor, and client relationships, using their licensure to sign off on, permit, and supervise installations.
Responsibilities:
Act as the licensed professional responsible for ensuring all installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and OSHA standards. Oversee multiple projects from design through construction to final sign-off, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Develop project plans, manage project budgets, prepare estimates, and procure materials and labor. Document and update leadership with job statuses in the company database. Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and subcontractors, providing regular project status reports. Manage on-site foremen, resolve technical challenges, and ensure quality control.
Qualifications:
Valid North Carolina Electrical License required. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred. 5+ years proven experience in electrical construction project management. Deep understanding of electrical design, blueprints, and electrical codes. Experience with construction software and Microsoft Office. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
