POSITION
Project Manager
LOCATION
Fort Bragg, NC SCOPE:
Serves as a Project Manager on a major IT services contract for the U.S. Army
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Project Manager will be responsible for management of the contract and ensure deliverables, and customer needs are met. This position will have Full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract. Serve as customer liaison and project manager between the Government and Contractor. Coordinate with functional and technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Be familiar with military Human Resources Information Systems. This contract supports the Army Client for between 0800 to 1700, Monday through Friday and this position will ensure delivery of services is available during this time. Experience in providing technical support to the Government with on-site human resources in the broad areas of network administration, system administration, client administration, web maintenance, software maintenance, analysis, system engineering, diagnostics, resolution, correction of outages, planning, designing of network topologies, implementation, training, and COO and Disaster recovery. Experience in overseeing a team in managing documentation for record-keeping purposes to include Continuity books detailing troubleshooting steps and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrate successful completion of a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field of study. Five years' experience in working and collaborating with customers relying on computers and IT support for Department of the Army (DA) civilians, contractors, and permanent party military personnel. Five (5) years related experience for the Project Manager or must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years' experience within the past 10, working as a Project Manager. Be familiar with personnel mobilization planning, analysis, policy, procedural guidance, and training Have specific experience with USAR personnel systems and programs
