The PM serves as the primary liaison between field operations, clients, subcontractors, and internal departments. Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination Review project scope, specifications, and drawings to develop work plans and schedules. Coordinate pre-construction meetings and establish communication channels with clients and field teams. Prepare submittals, RFI's, and job-specific documentation. Develop project budgets, cost codes, and manpower plans. Financial Management Monitor budgets, cost tracking, and billing schedules to ensure profitability. Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments. Identify potential change orders and manage cost adjustments. Prepare monthly cost-to-complete and financial status reports. Field Operations Oversight Support and communicate with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure daily operations align with project goals. Monitor job progress, production rates, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower to avoid delays. Conduct regular site visits and resolve field issues promptly. Client & Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and inspectors. Lead progress meetings and provide regular updates on project milestones. Manage relationships with utility companies, municipalities, and permitting agencies. Safety & Compliance Ensure all work complies with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards. Participate in safety meetings and jobsite inspections. Support the Safety Department with incident investigations and corrective actions. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate project documentation — daily reports, as-builts, change orders, and closeout packages. Ensure all permits, licenses, and inspections are properly obtained and filed. Provide end-of-project reviews and lessons learned summaries. Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience in underground utilities, conduit, or electrical infrastructure. Strong understanding of underground construction methods, electrical conduit systems, and utility coordination. Proficient in project management software. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license; willingness to travel to job sites as needed. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
