Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to manage signage projects from initial order through final installation. This role serves as the primary point of contact between customers, sales staff, production teams, installers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed accurately, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and experience in the sign industry, construction coordination, manufacturing, or a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate all phases of signage projects from kickoff to completion Review estimates, work orders, specifications, permits, and production schedules Resolve project issues, change orders, and customer concerns promptly Communicate project timelines, updates, and requirements with customers and internal teams Schedule production, deliveries, subcontractors, and installation crews Track project progress and ensure deadlines are met Maintain accurate project documentation, files, and status reports Order materials and coordinate with vendors and suppliers Assist with permit applications and municipal compliance requirements Support invoicing, billing documentation, and closeout procedures Ensure quality control standards and safety requirements are followed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of project coordination, construction coordination, signage, manufacturing, or related experience preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management software Experience with sign industry software, permitting, or production workflows is a plus Ability to read construction drawings, site plans, or sign layouts preferred Strong problem-solving and customer service skills Preferred Skills Knowledge of sign fabrication and installation processes Familiarity with vinyl graphics, channel letters, monument signs, and ADA signage Understanding of municipal permitting and zoning requirements Ability to coordinate field measurements and site surveys Experience working with subcontractors and installation crews Work Environment Office and production environment Occasional site visits may be required Fast-paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere Standard business hours with occasional overtime based on project demands Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Paid time off and holidays Health insurance options Retirement plan opportunities Professional development and advancement opportunities
