SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, OPERATIONAL READINESS
What you will do Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will have a central role as part of our start up team, leading the planning, execution and tracking of cross-functional activities for our operational readiness workstream, as well as overseeing and ensuring integration and alignment with Construction and Commissioning/Qualification workstreams. Specific responsibilities include developing and integrating readiness plans for multiple workstreams, facilitating activities execution, owning program level forums and governances, resolving execution challenges, ensuring safety, quality and compliance objectives are met. Also, you will be responsible for resource planning and budgeting, active schedule and risk management, project communications, partner alignment, performance tracking, and lessons learned documentation. Define project scope and develop operational readiness plans, schedules, and risk registers across key workstreams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Process Development, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Quality Control) Plan and manage project resources, including forecasting, negotiation, reconciliation, and reporting Integrate workstream plans into a consolidated master schedule to define and manage the overall critical path Ensure alignment of operational readiness schedules internally and with construction and commissioning/qualification (C&Q) workstreams Lead and facilitate execution across workstreams, maintaining accurate and up-to-date schedules Proactively identify, manage, and resolve risks and issues; escalate as needed to maintain project milestones and deliverables Establish and implement governance structures and tools to ensure effective oversight and decision-making across all workstreams Lead cross-functional workshops to drive alignment, resolve challenges, identify gaps, and advance site strategy Own the project communication strategy, including standardized tools for tracking, monitoring, and reporting progress Provide regular, clear updates to stakeholders, including workstream leads and senior leadership Provide strategic guidance to optimize project delivery, proactively de-risk execution, and align with site objectives What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Project Management experience OR Associate's degree and 10 years of Project Management experience OR Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Project Management experience OR Master's degree and 4 years of Project Management experience OR Doctorate degree and 2 years of Project Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing projects in the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably within biotechnology drug substance manufacturing Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into clear, executable plans Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to set direction, establish high expectations, and drive performance Experience defining workstream scope, roles, and responsibilities, and resolving ownership gaps or conflicts Strong ability to build effective working relationships and partnerships across all organizational levels Strong communication skills with the ability to engage project teams, workstream leads, senior leadership, and external partners Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from daily execution to program-level oversight Experience leading large-scale projects within a matrixed organization Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with tight timelines Strong negotiation and influencing skills across cross-functional stakeholders Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities PMP certification preferred What you can expect of us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
