Position Summary:

The Consultant-Pre Construction will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules for solar construction projects using Primavera P6. This role involves close collaboration with pre-construction, project managers and contractors to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Requirements:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Create and maintain detailed project schedules using the Critical Path Method (CPM) in Primavera P6. Develop resource-loaded schedules, perform resource analysis, and ensure optimal resources. Regularly update project schedules to reflect changes in scope, timelines and resources. Generate and present schedule reports, including progress updates and critical path analysis, to project stakeholders. Identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies. Work closely with project teams to verify scheduling information and ensure alignment with project goals Implement and maintain quality control procedures ensure schedules meet established standards.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

BA in construction management, engineering or a related field preferred. Needs to have electrical license in multiple states 5 years of experience in project scheduling with a focus on solar construction projects Proficiently in Primavera P6 including intermediate to advanced skills in schedule and cost control Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This position will be required to travel up to 75% of the time.
