This is a direct hire opportunity for a candidate with a strong mechanical engineering background and hands-on experience managing projects. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient, independent professional who is comfortable answering phones, traveling domestically, and working both in the office and in the field. Job Responsibilities - Leverage mechanical engineering expertise to plan and execute projects involving climate control, refrigeration, and fluid systems. Manage project scope, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion. Act as a secondary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, maintaining clear and professional communication across channels. Use CAD tools to produce, review, and update engineering drawings and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Engage directly with customers to identify needs, resolve technical challenges, and keep projects aligned with expectations. Support field operations through domestic travel as project needs arise, including site visits and client meetings. Self-manage workload across multiple concurrent projects, operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability. Job Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering or project management. Solid technical foundation in refrigeration or a related discipline. Working proficiency with CAD platforms for engineering design and documentation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to handle client-facing phone interactions with confidence. Willingness and ability to travel domestically as needed; active U.S. passport required. Prior experience working independently in technical roles involving troubleshooting or issue resolution preferred. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
