Senior Architectural Project Manager Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc Raleigh, NC Job Details Full-time $140,000 - $160,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications CAD software Construction detail documentation Design development project phase Construction document project phase Employee relationship building Revit Team management Leading team collaboration initiatives Building code analysis Project contract management Building information modeling (BIM) tools Full Job Description Weston and Sampson is seeking an Architectural Senior Project Manager with 18+ years' experience for our Apex or Raleigh North Carolina office. What you'll do: Work will include management of architectural design projects for the Facility group's clients, supporting the company's other engineering discipline groups, and participating and contributing to the expansion of the Facility group's growing project base. Lead and support multi-disciplinary project teams in the planning and design of new and renovated facilities. Work includes programming and conceptual planning through construction document preparation and construction administration. Network with new and existing clients by responding via direct requests and/or proposals Conduct business development including writing proposals, meeting with clients, and preparing details scopes of work. Work directly with clients to establish project and programming needs. Support projects through budgeting and permitting processes, including working with estimators to prepare construction and project costs, leading the project through permitting agencies and committees, and assisting the client in acquiring funding through public hearings and meetings. Participate in professional organizations and internal committees and/or groups. Collaborate and build strong working relationships with internal multi-disciplinary teams. Mentor and guide the development of junior staff and participate in the growth our Architectural practice in the North Carolina region.
What you will bring:
18+ years of substantial experience as a productive member of a project design team with strong technical and Revit skills. Ability to function comfortably, gain trust, confidence and deal effectively with a wide range of individuals including consultants, contractors and facilities project team members Proven ability to function in all phases of project development from schematic design through contract administration
REVIT/BIM
fluency is mandatory, working experience with AutoCAD desirable Strong construction experience and knowledge of architectural technical detailing. Thorough knowledge of building codes Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to lead a project team and guide production of construction documents, including coordination with internal and external engineering disciplines. Professional degree required. Architectural License in North Carolina Valid drivers license.
Salary Range:
$140,000-160,000k based on experience #
