Description of Work:
The Executive Vice Chancellor's Office seeks a highly effective and dependable Project Specialist. The Project Specialist will provide specialized support and project management for a wide variety of initiatives, programs, annual processes, and reporting. The position will support and facilitate the office's efforts in meeting the University's goals. The position will assist with general office responsibilities and join a very collaborative and energetic team. Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associate degree and four (4) years of related experience; or a bachelor's degree plus two (2) years of experience; or six (6) years of related experience required. Successful candidates should provide evidence of experience in managing complex projects with multiple deadlines, conducting research, knowledge of university structure and systems, and demonstrate the use of sound judgment and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters. Proficiency in Word processing and spreadsheets, excellent communication and organizational skills, a willingness to learn new things, ability to work independently, and a strong service-centered philosophy is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate may have a familiarity with Microsoft forms, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, NURamp, Adobe Acrobat Pro and/or tableau is preferred.
