Description Summary:
Project Coordinators work hand in hand with sales staff and customers to quote existing and potential VA Shop business. This position is customer-facing and requires great customer service skills.
Reports to:
PC Manager Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent work experience 1 year of customer service experience Familiarity with Office Suite Auto CAD experience Experience in an Electrical Manufacturing business is a plus Be able to write and speak in
English Preferred Qualifications:
Multi-tasking abilities are a must Ability to work in a fast paced environment Organized and prompt Ability to work in a team to accomplish common goals
Working Conditions:
Working conditions will be standard to an office environment with time spent on the production floor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No Essential Job Functions:
Work with sales staff and customers on quoting existing and potential VA shop business Use customer specs or prints to develop a bill of material for quoting assemblies Gather information for component parts on potential VA assemblies that meet the customer requirements Contact vendors to request special pricing Help coordinate the expediting of purchased parts for the VA assemblies Monitor and schedule future customer orders, to ensure due dates are met Help monitor stock levels of purchased parts Monitor future customer orders to ensure due dates are met Use CAD to produce prints of VA assemblies Design and approve prototype assemblies for customer evaluation Design test fixtures for VA assemblies to ensure product is tested 100% before shipment Develop the proper work instructions and Corrective Action Reports for all VA Parts Investigate customer problems or quality issues and take corrective measures to ensure the appropriate resolution Work with 3E Return Department personnel, to test and evaluate customer returns of VA assemblies CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | Veteran
