Job Description

Structural Steel Erection Project Manager Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Erection Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial structural steel projects from preconstruction through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, field knowledge, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Manage structural steel erection projects from kickoff through closeout Coordinate with field superintendents, fabricators, subcontractors, and general contractors Monitor project schedules, budgets, and production timelines Review drawings, contracts, and project specifications Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures Attend project meetings and maintain communication with clients and project stakeholders Track change orders, RFIs, and project documentation Support field operations to ensure successful project execution Qualifications 5+ years of structural steel construction experience Previous project management experience in structural steel erection preferred Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Company vehicle provided Full benefits package 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunity for long-term growth with a stable and growing company Please reach out to me ASAP at mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for further information!
