Job Description:
We are looking for a Project Manager for a hybrid, primarily remote, Contract-to-Hire opportunity. The Project Manager will oversee a portfolio of projects to meet the department's evolving needs, focusing on process improvement and change management. This role involves working closely with departmental leadership to develop project plans aligned with the organization's strategic goals. Additionally, the Project Manager will provide consulting support on cross-disciplinary projects leveraging departmental expertise.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of project management, quality, or process improvement experience (5 years preferred). Prior experience in Business Analysis, particularly in Healthcare or Research environments, is a plus. Experience with cross-functional teams is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Identification & Planning:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Secure project approval and determine resource availability, timeline, and budget. Develop detailed project plans and communicate objectives to the team.
Project Execution:
Oversee project progress, track milestones, identify issues, and mitigate risks. Regularly update project sponsors and stakeholders on status and health.
Project Closure:
Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned. Ensure project outcomes align with intended impact and results.
Skills & Knowledge:
Advanced knowledge of PMBOK guidelines and tools. Intermediate knowledge of BABOK, Lean, Six Sigma, change management, and risk management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Strong communication, time management, organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and influence others.
Education & Certifications:
BA/BS degree required; MA/MS preferred.
Preferred certifications:
CAPM, PMP, CSSBB, CSSGB.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong project management experience and a background in Healthcare or Research environments.
Job Types:
Full-time, Contract-to-Hire Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
