Project Manager Fabrication BluEdge - 3.6 Carlstadt, NJ Job Details 10 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Overview We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with deep knowledge of fabrication and experiential builds. This is a senior individual-contributor role—no direct reports—but you will be the point person and subject-matter expert for all fabrication-intensive projects. The right candidate is process-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work cross-functionally with technical design, production, and installation teams to deliver high-quality projects reliably and efficiently. Core Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution Own all aspects of fabrication-focused projects from kickoff through installation. Partner closely with Technical Design, Prepress, Production, and Installation teams to develop project-specific workflows, work-back schedules, and production strategies. Ensure installers receive a clear, written "run of show" / playbook tailored to each job and confirm the correct install team is assigned. Process Development & Continuous Improvement Help advance BluEdge's expansion into experiential and fabrication-heavy work by establishing clear, repeatable PM processes. Create and refine toolkits and documentation, including: Work-back schedules Workflow strategies Standard operating procedures for fabrication projects Identify bottlenecks between Sales, Project Management, and Production, and recommend corrective actions to improve throughput and reliability. Clarify and document what falls within a PM's scope—and what does not—to ensure consistency across the team. Systems & Platform Adoption Become fluent in BluCore (our proprietary internal software) and support the ongoing rollout of the platform within the project management organization. Ensure your projects are fully run through BluCore, using templates, scheduling tools, checklists, and reporting as designed. Client Communication Serve as the primary project-facing contact for fabrication clients. Align early on scope, expectations, timeline, and requirements. Communicate changes, risks, and updates clearly and proactively. Build trust through reliability and strong technical understanding. (Optional/Not required) Leverage pre-existing relationships to introduce potential opportunities to BluEdge. Cross-Functional Strengths (Used as Needed) Strong understanding of installation methods and on-site coordination Ability to qualify project scope and ensure feasibility before work begins Comfort participating in build strategy discussions with internal teams Ideal Background Significant hands-on experience managing fabrication or experiential production projects Deep understanding of vendor coordination, materials, production methods, and install logistics Highly organized, with a strong ability to create and enforce structure Excellent communicator who can bridge technical teams and clients Comfortable operating independently as the fabrication PM expert
