Traveling Project Manager - MSG - Pharmaceutical Equiliem medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Jersey, East Brunswick 25 Kennedy Boulevard (Show on map) May 29, 2026 Job Summary Leads, directs, and coordinates the day-to-day management of complex projects within the biotech/pharma or construction sector. Provides strategic leadership to project teams, oversees schedules, budgets, and quality control, and fosters strong client and vendor relationships. Ensures project delivery meets performance, safety, and compliance standards while mentoring staff and promoting a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and professional growth. Positions are available in Raleigh, NC; Birmingham, AL; Indianapolis, IN; Denver, CO; San Francisco, CA; and Seattle, WA. Job Responsibilities Lead the development of high-performing teams through supervision, coaching, training, and mentoring. Provide regular performance feedback and ensure timely completion of employee evaluations. Manage and develop assigned staff to maximize performance and career growth opportunities. Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor. Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure adherence to project goals. Implement and maintain effective quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) practices. Provide leadership in risk assessment, contract negotiations, and project pricing decisions. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, business ethics standards, and safety procedures. Manage field operations and engineering processes while enforcing workplace safety protocols. Collaborate with preconstruction and project development teams as needed. Support the implementation of emerging technologies and sustainable practices to improve project performance. Foster a workplace culture centered on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Represent projects professionally in client, community, and industry interactions. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum of ten years of project management, construction, or related technical experience required. Previous biotech/pharma project experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of construction cost management, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, interpret, and apply contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules. Demonstrated leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and complex project environments. Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Work Experience Minimum of ten years of experience in project management, construction, or a related technical field. Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing large-scale budgets and project schedules. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Requires standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and the hands-on use of tools and controls. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work is performed primarily on-site with exposure to moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, airborne particles, and varying weather conditions.
