Job Description
Overview We are currently seeking a Project Manager in New York/New Jersey. Come join our team! We are looking to build services and capabilities through the growth of our key asset- our staff. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ. Responsibilities Coordinate construction efforts on multiple projects in design and construction Overall responsibility to ensure timely completion of project work Manage project team Provide administrative oversight for all phases of work Oversee/Inspect the work of contractors, provide progress reports, contract correspondences, manage the submittals, requisitions and change order process Communicate directly with the client and the design team Provide technical evaluations, advice, and guidance Oversee safety and security Manage multi-contractor projects as well as contractor compliance with project documents Create and track Field Orders and Change Orders Assess impact of change requests or delays on the project schedule and budget Ensure compliance with the project specific construction management plan Detailed critical path schedule development and analysis Qualifications Candidate must have a degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing multiple projects Provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, and quality Experience coordinating with designers handling any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client/facility Full knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor's payment application Preferred candidate to live in NJ for traveling throughout the state We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential. $190,000 The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidate's qualifications and location.
