Innovative Korean Solutions ("IKS") is a company that provides turnkey product solutions in the specialty K-Beauty skincare category. These include Hydrogels, Hydrocolloids, serums, facial pads, and other non-traditional creams and lotions manufactured by our Korean factory partners. Because of our expanding business, the company is looking to hire a new Project Manager at either our New York City, NY office or our Somerset, NJ office.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager oversees the development and launches of new skin care products, coordinating between different teams and managing timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring projects meet quality standards and comply with regulations while aligning with customer brand strategies.

Full-time -

Salary PAY :

$80,000 to $110,000 depending on experience and education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning and Execution:

Defines project scope, creates timelines, and develops project plans and works with the clients' R&D, marketing, packaging, regulatory, and other teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Timeline & Budget & Management:

Tracks project progress and identifies potential delays and timely implementing solutions while managing project budgets and ensuring product cost-effectiveness.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

Ensures products meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations while identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices.

Risk Management:

Identifies potential risks, develops mitigation plans, and escalates issues to management and clients when necessary.

Communication and Reporting:

Provides regular project updates to stakeholders, including company senior management and clients' team members, to ensure all parties are informed and aligned on project goals and progress.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or project management.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in beauty, cosmetics, or fast-moving consumer goods (CPG).

Technical Knowledge:

Experience in the development of consumer products with a background in the skin care product development process, including formulation, testing, and manufacturing coupled with the relevant regulations and guidelines for cosmetic products being very helpful.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams.

Project Management:

Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity with a good understanding of using project management software and tools.

Personal:

Quality conscious with excellent organizational and accuracy skills. Courteous, tactful and a good team player. Able to manage multiple priorities. Has a long-term, loyal perspective to career and company.
