  • 150,000 About the Role Our client is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Project Controller
  • Manage r to oversee project accounting and financial controls across current and future construction and development projects. This role will play a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, budget discipline, and clear reporting throughout the full project lifecycle. The Project Controller
  • Manager will partner closely with Development, Construction, and Finance teams to track budgets, monitor costs, identify risks, and ensure project financials are accurate, timely, and decision-ready.
This is an ideal opportunity for a project accounting professional with strong construction or real estate development experience, a deep understanding of job costing and project controls, and hands-on experience with Procore. Key Responsibili ties Own project-level accounting and financial management for active and future construction and development projects. Track budgets, commitments, forecasts, actuals, change orders, draw schedules, and job cost reporting Partner closely with Development and Construction teams to provide financial visibility throughout the project lifecycle Prepare variance analysis, financial reporting, and project updates for leadership Identify project risks, cost trends, and budget concerns early, providing clear recommendations when needed Support Procore setup, implementation, optimization, and day-to-day usage Ensure proper documentation, cost controls, and internal controls are maintained across projects Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies, contractual requirements, and best practices Improve project accounting processes to support continued growth and scalability Qualifications 6+ years of experience in project accounting, project controls, construction accounting, or real estate development finance Hands-on experience with Procore Construction Software required Experience implementing or optimizing Procore strongly preferred Strong understanding of the construction lifecycle, including budgeting, cost tracking, change management, draw schedules, and project close-out Experience partnering with Development, Construction, and Finance teams in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience with large construction or development firms strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
