Full-Time (40hr/Week) Salary range: $75-90k (depending on qualification and experience) Reports to : Manager Projects Cooperate with : Operations, Sales, Production, Engineering Outer contact: Customers, HOPPECKE Germany, Associations Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Hainesport, NJ. The selected candidate will oversee project execution, manage schedules, and coordinate deliverables to ensure timely project completion. Responsibilities will include expediting processes, ensuring quality control and inspections, facilitating logistics, and liaising across teams and stakeholders to develop efficient workflows. The Project Manager will play a key role in driving projects to successful outcomes while contributing to the company's goals. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage battery development and production projects for the rail sector from project award through final delivery and closeout. Partner with Sales and Engineering to review, validate, and approve project proposals, technical scope, and cost estimates. Assume end-to-end responsibility for customer contracts in collaboration with Sales, from contract signing through project completion. Ensure projects are executed in line with agreed schedules, budgets & margins. Provide regular, structured project status updates to internal and external stakeholders, including schedule, cost, risks, and mitigation actions. Coordinate closely with Operations and Production to meet committed delivery dates and production milestones. Actively support and resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues throughout the full project lifecycle. Coordinate engineering documentation flow, ensuring timely distribution, version control, and alignment with project milestones. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering discipline or relevant work experience in project management within the manufacturing / rail industry 2 years minimum in project management or related experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred Technical understanding of electrical systems, analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational skills, discipline, and leadership. Strong work ethic, with high motivation and commitment to tasks and responsibilities along with resilience and flexibility. About
