$115,000•150,000 per year (based on experience) Position Overview An established mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager responsible for managing HVAC installation and mechanical projects from planning through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with company quality and safety standards, while coordinating with field crews, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. The HVAC Project Manager plays a critical role in overseeing project scheduling, budgeting, and communication between office and field teams to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Scheduling Plan and coordinate HVAC installation projects from initiation to completion Develop project schedules, timelines, and labor plans Coordinate with field supervisors, foremen, and installation crews Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are met Project Execution Maintain clear and timely client communication Oversee field operations to ensure installations meet specifications and quality standards Identify and resolve project challenges or field issues Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers Budget & Cost Management Develop and manage project budgets Track job costs including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses Review job cost reports and maintain project profitability Approve purchase orders and manage project expenditures Client & Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders Provide regular project updates and progress reports Coordinate project meetings and site walkthroughs Address client concerns and ensure overall satisfaction Documentation & Compliance Maintain project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and reports Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies Assist with project closeout, inspections, and final documentation Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred 5+ years of HVAC or mechanical construction project management experience Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, and mechanical installations Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings Experience with project scheduling and project management software Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and client management abilities Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Physical Requirements Ability to visit job sites including rooftops, mechanical rooms, and construction environments Ability to travel locally between project sites and company facilities Benefits 401(k) with employer match Paid vacation Health insurance reimbursement options Vision and dental reimbursement Paid holidays Continuing education support Paid sick leave Equal Opportunity Statement This company is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
