We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for an experienced Crew Leader, Driver, Foreman, or Moving Professional looking to advance into a management role. Associate Project Managers work alongside our Project Managers to oversee customer relocations and logistics projects while developing the skills necessary to manage projects independently. Compensation & Benefits Equivalent of approximately $38-$40 per hour through hourly pay and commission Commission on every job Client tips Incentive pay opportunities Healthcare coverage 401(k) contribution Consistent year-round work Career advancement path to Project Manager Schedule Monday through Saturday Start times as early as 6:00 AM Approximately 40-60 hours per week Position Overview Associate Project Managers are responsible for helping coordinate and execute residential, commercial, storage, and distribution projects. This role combines field leadership, customer service, crew management, and operational oversight. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can effectively manage crews, communicate professionally with customers, solve problems in real time, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably. Responsibilities Lead and supervise moving and logistics crews on customer job sites Serve as a primary point of contact for customers during project execution Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and project coordination Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to customer expectations Train, mentor, and develop crew members Identify opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency Complete job documentation, inventories, and required paperwork accurately Resolve customer concerns and operational challenges in a professional manner Operate company vehicles when required Work closely with Project Managers and Operations Management to ensure successful project outcomes Develop the skills necessary to independently manage projects and customer relationships Physical Requirements Load and unload household goods, furniture, cabinets, and commercial equipment Lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance as required Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, reaching, and physical activity throughout the day Qualifications Leadership experience in moving, logistics, transportation, warehousing, construction, or a related field Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to effectively lead and motivate teams Professional customer-service mindset Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Results-oriented with excellent organizational skills Fluent in English and Spanish preferred Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Excellent attendance and dependability Career Growth Opportunity This position is designed as a development role for future Project Managers. Successful Associate Project Managers will gain experience in customer relations, project planning, crew leadership, logistics coordination, profitability management, and operational oversight, preparing them to advance into a full Project Manager position.
