Residential Roofing/Siding Project Manager

Overview I am looking for an individual that is tired of working for Owners that do not care about their employees. I'm looking for someone that is not concerned about getting their hands dirty or jumping in to do whatever it takes to get the job done. I was an employee for decades until I bought this business. I worked in high end residential remodeling and worked for a design build firm for over two decades. Two years ago, my roofer/exterior trimmer/sider retired and sold me his business. A very successful business that was started in 2002. I now have the opportunity to build a company that employs people who really care about what they do and have a say in how it should be done and what direction the company should take. So I am looking for someone special that really cares about the work they do and how they how they treat others. I want someone that will work hard, be organized, treat everyone with respect, follow through with what they say they will do, and be a person of their word. I want experts that take great pride in the work they do. These are the type of people I have already hired and and I won't compromise on who gets to work for this company. No egos, just a desire to do good work and be treated with respect. And also have fun doing it! Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Involved in future scheduling of project timelines Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and building codes. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to accurately interpret project requirements and communicate expectations clearly to teams. Expedite material orders and deliveries for each project Utilize construction management software such as JobNimbus to review project documents and project status (This can be easily trained to qualified individuals) Coordinate with builders or homeowners as the primary point of contact for each project Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and safety standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Issue change orders as needed, approve invoices, and perform job cost autopsies as needed Experience Proven experience managing roofing, exterior trim, and siding projects with a strong understanding of construction site operations. Demonstrated expertise in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Hands on experience in carpentry, roofing, exterior trim, siding, decks, window installation, and exterior door installation required. Familiarity with industry-standard programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word and other basic software platforms. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively among diverse teams while maintaining clear documentation. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while adhering to deadlines through effective time management skills.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
