Job Description

My client is looking for a Department Manager to oversee all operational, technical, managerial, marketing, administrative, and financial functions within the Survey Department. In this leadership role, you will guide survey teams, liaise with clients, and maintain precision and quality throughout every stage of project delivery-from fieldwork through final outputs. This opportunity is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic, collaborative setting where leadership, geospatial expertise, and strategic project execution intersect. You will supervise a broad spectrum of surveying services, support the growth of junior staff, and work alongside top professionals in the AEC industry. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily land surveying operations, including: Managing communication with both internal teams and external clients Preparing project proposals and handling invoicing processes Supervising two or more survey crews Driving business growth by strengthening existing client relationships and expanding services across my client's surveying and geospatial offerings, such as 3D laser scanning, mobile LiDAR, rail surveying, GPS-based, and traditional survey methods Qualifications Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience Proven ability to generate revenue through both existing client accounts and new business development Strong English communication skills for understanding and conveying written and verbal job-related information
Compensation:
