Position Summary The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in the successful planning, scheduling, and execution of residential Solar PV installation projects. Working closely with project managers and management, the Project Coordinator ensures every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the high quality standards Solar Mite Solutions is known for. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about renewable energy and team success. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Scheduling Coordinate and manage project timelines from permit approval through final inspection and commissioning. Schedule installation crews across multiple job sites efficiently. Monitor project milestones and proactively address scheduling conflicts or delays. Maintain and update project management software with current status, notes, and deadlines. Customer Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the installation process. Communicate project timelines, preparation requirements, and updates in a clear and professional manner. Resolve customer concerns promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary. Team Coordination Act as a liaison between installation crews and management. Participate in weekly scheduling and production meetings. Qualifications & Requirements Required 2+ years of experience in project coordination, construction management, or a related field. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and/or Google Workspace. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Experience in solar, electrical, or construction industries strongly preferred. Familiarity with solar permitting processes and utility interconnection procedures. Knowledge of NEC electrical codes or NABCEP standards a plus. Experience with CRM or solar-specific project management platforms (e.g., JobNimbus, SolarWinds, Aurora).
