Assistant Project Manager, Janitorial-NOW HIRING in Paramus, NJ!!

We are a nationally recognized Janitorial and Facilities Maintenance company looking to add to our team in Paramus, NJ!! We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Janitorial services in a retail Mall. The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will assist the Project Manager in supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the housekeeping and maintenance department to ensure highest standards for cleanliness for the mall are achieved daily.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Monitors and maintains proper inventory levels; authorizes purchase orders for supplies and equipment. Supervises and assists staff in housekeeping duties. Assist Project Manager in implementing and maintaining deep cleaning schedules of all restrooms. Assist in the hiring, training, supervision and develops housekeeping staff; manages schedules, timecards, and workflow. Assigns duties and monitors quality of work. Assist, develops and implements all supply and inventory management including ordering. Interfaces with Mall Manager, Project Manager and Security to receive information regarding housekeeping needs; ensures timely response to requests. Other duties as assigned by Project Manager and Mall Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Two or more years related experience as a supervisor or manager in environmental services, maintenance, or housekeeping. Competent on MS Word, Basic Excel, Outlook. Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels. Ability to perform the physical labor when necessary. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. (Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required). Must have a driver's license and pass MVR check to operate company vehicle and other motorized equipment. Complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision after probationary period.

Schedule:

Monday - Saturday (one day off during weekdays) 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm
