Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful planning and execution of commercial projects for their client in Kenilworth, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to continue their career growth in Construction Management.

Responsibilities:

Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination from preconstruction through closeout Support scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking activities Help manage subcontractors, vendors, and material procurement Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders Coordinate inspections, site meetings, and project documentation Maintain project records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Communicate regularly with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred 1+ years of experience in commercial construction Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with construction software is a plus Ability to read construction drawings and specifications Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
