Position Summary The Assistant Project Manager plays a key supporting role in the successful execution of commercial glazing and façade projects from preconstruction through closeout. This position works closely with Project Managers to coordinate schedules, manage documentation, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Assist Project Managers in overseeing multiple glazing and window system projects simultaneously Coordinate project documentation including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and change orders Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables Communicate with clients, general contractors, architects, vendors, and internal teams Support procurement of materials and equipment Monitor job costs, budgets, and progress billing Help ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and safety standards Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting notes and action items Assist in project closeout activities, including punch lists and final documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1-4 years of experience in a similar role within the construction construction sector, (preferably within glazing, curtain wall, storefront, or exterior envelope systems) Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle Familiarity with architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management software is a plus Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working with glazing subcontractors or façade systems manufacturers Knowledge of fabrication and installation processes for aluminum and glass systems Exposure to tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar
