Job Description

PURPOSE The Project Manager is responsible for developing customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, managing active client accounts, and overseeing signage projects from initial inquiry through final installation. This role serves as both a sales professional and project leader, ensuring customers receive excellent communication, accurate proposals, smooth execution, and a high-quality final product. The position plays a key role in driving revenue growth, maintaining customer satisfaction, and coordinating successful project delivery across all departments. PAY $50,000+ Compensation Structure Guaranteed base salary during onboarding and pipeline ramp-up Transition to straight commission compensation over time Commission paid on new business and repeat accounts Strong earning potential for professionals who build a book of business Specific base duration and commission structure will be discussed during the interview process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Sales & Business Development Develop new commercial signage opportunities through networking, referrals, and outreach Build and maintain long-term customer relationships Meet with prospects and clients to understand project goals and recommend solutions Prepare estimates, proposals, and pricing with internal support Follow up on leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline Identify opportunities for repeat business and account growth 2. Client Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers Maintain proactive communication throughout the life of each project Set clear expectations regarding scope, schedule, and process Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly Build trust that leads to repeat business and referral 3. Project Management Manage projects from signed contract through completion Coordinate internally with design, permitting, fabrication, and installation teams Track schedules, approvals, materials, and milestones Ensure projects stay on timeline and within approved scope Conduct site visits when needed for surveys, meetings, or job progress Assist in collecting final approvals, punch lists, and closeout items 4. Administrative & Operational Support Maintain accurate job notes, CRM records, and project documentation Assist accounting with deposits, billing milestones, and collections communication Support continuous improvement of internal systems and workflows Uphold company standards for professionalism and customer experience
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience in sales, project management, construction, signage, or related industry preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Organized with the ability to manage multiple active projects Comfortable negotiating, selling, and managing customer expectations Self-motivated and accountable with strong follow-through Valid driver's license and ability to travel within New Mexico as needed
